Doddlespool Hall is situated approximately 1 mile from the centre of Betley on the A5331 Newcastle to Nantwich road. Bentley is approximately 6 miles from the medieval town of Nantwich; 4 miles from the main rail line at Crewe and 10 miles from the Pottery Towns Access to them 6 motorway is a mere 5 minute drive.
The village of Bentley has pubs; shops and a historic church; and Doddlespool is used for local functions such as church fetes; garden parties; antique evenings and a travelling theatre. Outings to local towns for shopping or sightseeing or to beauty spots are organised.
Tastefully decorated bedrooms; all with a nurse-call system are available fully furnished; or residents are welcome to bring their own furniture and create their own living environment.
Care staff are carefully selective and trained by the owner; Mrs. Jukes; and for residents’ extra peace of mind qualified nursing staff are always on call.
A choice of English traditional cooking; using seasonal fresh fruit and vegetables form the kitchen garden; is offered every day; and any special diet can be catered for. Sherry is served before lunch and dinner and fresh cakes are baked every day.
Mrs Jukes and her husband; also run the nearby Corbrook Court Nursing Home. Residents with serious health problems can be offered nursing accommodation at Corbrook.
