Village Farm

Village Farm is a beautiful five bedded residential care home for adults who have a severe learning difficulty, challenging behaviour and autism.

Witham Valley Care Group is a recently established organisation located in Lincolnshire, which provides personal care and support to adults who have learning difficulties, challenging behaviour and Autism. The organisation endeavours to provide clients and their families with a personal, professional and individual service designed to meet their specific needs and requirements.

Village Farm, situated in the small rural village of Norton Disney, is now open and accepting referrals. The home is a beautifully decorated and furnished 5 bedroom house and can offer all residents an en-suite room with picturesque views of the neighbouring farm lands, the homes extensive gardens and our therapeutic and friendly lambs. Norton Disney is accessed from the A46 that runs between the city of Lincoln and the market town of Newark and is the ideal location to access the wide range of facilities available in both areas and the other surrounding villages.

All clients of the Witham Valley Care Group will be encouraged and supported to develop their independence skills and social network. The care group will ensure that all clients are advised of the facilities available within the home and local community and of the range of college courses, leisure activities and places of interest available to them.

Activities

In house activities: Baking, artwork, puzzles/games, looking after animals, gardening, outside games e.g. football, swingball, cricket etc. working towards independence skills such as home skills, cooking, cleaning, washing etc. completing ASDAN towards independence portfolio's, relaxing, television & DVD's.

Activities accessed externally: Cinema, bowling, adventure / theme parks, shopping, swimming, going to the pub, meals out, visiting places of interest, colleges, sports centres, clubs.
