Dial House

Dial House is a registered nursing home specialising in professional nursing care for the elderly. It has been established for over 25 years and continually run by the same family. The present Matron is Mrs. V. Maltby R.G.N. who is the daughter of Mrs. E. Smith, who opened the nursing home in 1964.

Dial House prides itself on it's homely atmosphere and excellent nursing care, carried out by fully trained nursing staff, who are on duty at all times. An RGN is on duty 24 hours a day and a doctor is always on call.

The building itself is an individually architecturally designed detached house built at the turn of the century and takes it's name from the sundial at the rear of the house. It is situated in its own private gardens in a prime location directly opposite Bedford Park.
A sitting room is situated on the ground floor overlooking the gardens with a conservatory. Visitors are welcome to call at all times. All food is freshly cooked on the premises and a variety of diets can be catered for.

Full time activities co-ordinater in house.

Facilities

Dial House also offers a full range of care packages including respite care, day care and home care, which can be funded either privately or by social services. Home care is provided within people's own homes by carers who have been fully trained within the nursing home. Personal care includes housework, preparing meals and shopping, whilst practical care provides help with washing, dressing, bathing, feeding etc.
